Course Description: This course explores the delivery and management of mental health in Canada. Learners will study components of mental health assessment, therapies, and medications used to treat mental health disorders. Signs and symptoms, treatment options, nursing considerations, and client education will be discussed for the following: anxiety, depressive, somatic, eating, dissociative, personality, and psychotic disorders.
