Course Description: This course introduces the learner to concepts of pharmacology. The learner will examine pharmacological principles and Canadian regulations for medication safety. The learner will study indications for use, side effects, and nursing considerations from various medication classifications. Alternative pharmacotherapies and potential interactions will also be discussed.
