Course Description: This course provides learners with an overview of theories and principles of human growth and development to support the delivery of holistic care. Learners will identify physiological, cognitive, and psychosocial theories and their application across the lifespan. Nutrition and the Determinants of Health will be studied as influential factors in growth and development. Learners will also study palliative care, the grieving process, and spiritual and cultural influences at end-of-life.
