Course Description: During this course, learners apply their knowledge and skills in early learning and care within a field placement. Throughout the experience, learners actively participate in the planning and execution of early learning programming. The course also includes a weekly seminar that provides the opportunity to debrief, reflect, and prepare new curriculum initiatives.

  • Students will have successfully completed all required program courses that have been attempted prior to the applied workplace experience. Students following an approved modified curriculum may also participate in an applied workplace experience where appropriate.
