Course Description: This course is designed to allow students to practice the skills and competencies of human service practitioners in a work-integrated learning setting.  Emphasis will be placed on providing supervised training opportunities with human services agencies and the individuals they serve.  Learning will be achieved through work-integrated learning and discussions on various topics related to their placements.

  • Students will have successfully completed all required program courses attempted before the applied workplace experience. Students following an approved curriculum may also participate in an applied workplace experience where appropriate.
